A new cycle for the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing: message from the EC

05/11/2017

Dear Partners,

As we are entering a new cycle in the life of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) we would like to share with you an overview of actions that will  be pursued in the coming months, and that are designed to achieve closer alignment between the European Commission policy initiatives and the valuable work pursued by the Partnership through its Action Groups and the Reference Sites.

In order to support this new cycle, we have appointed a consortium (WE4AHA) to provide Coordination and Support Actions to the Partnership. In the attached letter we have included an explanation about the activities of the consortium, and how they relate to both the strategic policy priorities of the European Commission and the activities of the Partnership.

We are also pleased to confirm that the next Conference of Partners of the EIP on AHA will take place on the 27-28 February 2018 in Brussels. This will be an important working meeting to take stock of what has been accomplished by the Partnership, but also to reflect on the future of the Partnership beyond the 2020 mandate. We hope that you will be able to join us and actively participate in the event.

Finally, we want to thank you again for your continued commitment and support for the Partnership.

Yours sincerely,

Ingrid Keller
